Outside ‘The HUB’ at 6 Anson Street a double decker hired bus arrived and picked up 72 adults and children who are all being supported through The HUB but referred in-house to Families Fighting for Justice and OLLY our children’s group. The HUB is not only a ‘One Stop Shop’ it also helps bring together families who have gone through trauma. This day out took the families to OLLY Olympics 2019. We hold these Olympics every year at Birkenhead Park and then onto The Queens Hotel, Birkenhead where the families can sit and be entertained, while the children dance and sing to the music supplied by the D.J Tony. They are served a free buffet all provided by OLLY and Families Fighting for Justice.
We would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the donation given to us by the Manageress, Joan of The Queens Hotel and also a donation given to OLLY by Tony the D.J.
Over 100 attended this great event. Every year it gets bigger and bigger.
The OLLY children will be going to a fantastic holiday to an Adventure Farm, C.A.F.T on Monday 5th August, we then have 50 children and carers going to North Wales for a five day camping break, we do this every year. Without these breaks away these children would never go out of their communities.
The HUB is open 5 days a week 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. We also have our 24 hour phone line. The HUB is a ‘One Stop Shop’ you do not need any appointment. To speak to us to seek our help, guidance, support or advice, we are here to listen because we understand your pain.
