As we come to the close of 2025, we want to pause and reflect on a year filled with strength, compassion, and the power of coming together in the hardest of times.
Here at The HUB, we’ve stood alongside families facing unimaginable loss — providing tailored support, practical guidance, and a listening ear when it mattered most. Every conversation, every session, and every referral has been part of something bigger: a community rooted in care, connection, and hope.
What We’ve Shared This Year
Throughout 2025, we’ve:
- Welcomed new families into our care, each with their own unique journey
- Worked in close partnership with organisations across Merseyside to ensure no one slipped through the cracks
- Provided one-to-one sessions, peer support opportunities, and referrals to specialist services
- Helped children find joy, comfort, and confidence through our friends at OLLY (Our Lost Love Years)
- Continued to build bridges between families and key agencies including FLOs, VLOs, and the National Probation Service
To Our Volunteers — Thank You
None of this would be possible without the dedicated volunteers who give their time, energy, and hearts to support the families we serve. Your kindness, lived experience, and willingness to walk beside others in grief is what makes The HUB so special.
Whether you helped run a session, offered support at a critical moment, or simply showed up for someone who needed you — you’ve made a difference. And we are so thankful.
Looking Ahead to 2026
While the grief we work with doesn’t follow a calendar, the start of a new year brings with it the hope of continued growth, deeper connection, and reaching even more families in need.
In 2026, we will keep doing what we do best — listening, supporting, and standing beside those who need us most.
Thank you for being part of our journey in 2025. We see you, we appreciate you, and we look forward to walking into the new year together.
