We are helping to raise awareness of a new Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) survey, launched to better understand the experiences of women and girls across Merseyside and how safe they feel where they live, work, study, travel and socialise.
A previous survey in 2023 received more than 4,000 responses, with the experiences shared helping to shape work to tackle violence against women and girls across Merseyside.
Three years on, the new survey aims to understand whether experiences and perceptions have changed, identify emerging issues and ensure that future work continues to be informed by the voices of women and girls.
If you are a woman or girl in Merseyside, please consider taking a few minutes to complete the survey. You can also help by sharing it with friends, family and others in your community.
The survey is open until 11th October 2026.

Every response can help build a clearer picture of the experiences of women and girls across Merseyside and contribute to future work to improve safety.
